At Rising Sun TCG, we deal in highly volatile and sensitive collectibles. Because the value of Pokémon cards can fluctuate daily based on market trends, our return and refund policy is designed to protect both the integrity of our inventory and our customers.
Final Sale Policy
Due to the nature of the TCG (Trading Card Game) market, the following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:
Individual “Singles”: All single cards are sold as-is based on the condition stated in the product description.
Sealed Product: Booster packs, booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes (ETBs), and gift sets cannot be returned once the factory seal is broken or tampered with.
Graded Cards: Cards certified by PSA, BGS, CGC, or other grading companies are final sale.
Eligibility for Returns
We only accept returns or provide refunds under the following specific circumstances:
Wrong Item Received: If we sent you a different card or product than what was listed on your order confirmation.
Gross Misrepresentation: If a card’s condition is significantly lower than described (e.g., a card listed as “Near Mint” arrives with a visible crease).
Package Damage: If the product itself is damaged due to inadequate packaging by Rising Sun TCG.
Return Process
If your order meets the eligibility criteria above:
Provide Proof: An uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory for all return, refund, or damage claims. The video must clearly show the sealed package, shipping label, and the complete opening process without any cuts or edits. Claims related to damage, missing items, incorrect products, or condition disputes cannot be processed without a valid unboxing video.
Approval: Once we review your claim, we will provide instructions for the return shipment.
Condition of Return: Items must be returned in the exact condition they were received, including any protective sleeves, top-loaders, or security seals.
Refunds
Approval: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Processing: If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original method of payment within 5 – 7 business days.
Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If a return is due to our error, we will cover the return shipping costs.
Order Cancellations
Orders can only be canceled if they have not yet been processed for shipping. Once a tracking number has been generated or the status is marked as “Shipped,” the order can no longer be canceled.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Rising Sun TCG is not responsible for packages marked as “Delivered” by the courier but not received by the customer.
